“ My mother and I dined at this beautiful restaurant on the last night of the Tokyo part of our Japan trip from the US. Immediately the waitstaff was so inviting, and the chefs welcomed us in as well. The lighting was very comfortable and warm! Our waitress was incredibly patient and helped us with suggestions on what to get. We ended up getting the Wagyu sirloin steak, and the garlic fried rice. The starter was an amazing beef stew with a homemade crouton. Our (perfectly cooked) steaks also came with bean sprouts cooked in sesame oil, a lovely salad with a sesame dressing, and finally the best miso soup that we have ever had. All of that except for the fried rice came with the A La Carte options! I ordered red wine, and our waitress chose Cabernet Sauvignon. I had not preferred red wine before this, but I genuinely enjoyed what she chose very much. The conversations we had with the staff were wonderful, and the waitress spoke incredible English. If we were in Tokyo longer, we would without a doubt eat there again. It’s the perfect hidden gem to end our Tokyo stay on such a high note! ”

“ It's a nice, cozy shop, unassumingly located across from a neighborhood park. You can either order from a set course meal or decide your own items, and the chef will prepare them and have them delivered to you with perfect timing through the aid of very competent staff. The food is simply spectacular, and easily explains why they have the best teppanyaki rating in the neighborhood. They do have menus in english, and a wide variety of drinks and spirits too choose from. If possible, make a reservation beforehand, as even during weekdays they can have a lot of people excitedly waiting for the locale to open, but don't be afraid to drop in if you are willing to wait a minute or two. Definitely a must go-to place in asakusa. ”

“ This was such an amazing experience and the food was unbelievably good. It was an intimate meal with both the chef and servers making every effort to make us aware of the dishes being served and making light conversation. Just sorry my Japanese is limited, really wanted to express my gratitude for the fabulous food and service. Meal was to die for. ”

“ Amazing restaurant. We went for an early dinner and everything was just perfect. We ordered the basic dinner menu, for a really fair price, and we enjoyed with the beef stew, the refreshing salad, the crunchy shrimps, the soft white fish, the tasty wagyu steak, the flavourful rice with miso soup and the home maid dorayaki as a dessert. Every single dish was carefully prepared, explained and served just in front of us, and the taste was delicious. The perfect balance between traditional and modern Japanese cuisine. The environment is cozy, the staff is very nice and english friendly, and you can see them enjoying what they are doing. This restaurant worth every single yen you spend (and is cheaper than you may think). Awesome experience, totally recommended. ”

“ Bit of context - I’m Australian (Perth) and I went here by chance on my own at early sitting (6:15pm), I speak no Japanese; but, I love food and I love degustations. This place is a bit out of Akasaka central and a bit hard to find (Google maps ) but trust me when I say it is WORTH IT. It’s not just the value for money (worth every cent and more) and not just the friendly staff and English friendly menus - but the food. Is. Sensational. 10 courses, each in its proper place, at the right time, of the exact temperature to incite snappy thumbs and broad grins. A gastronomical journey of discovery, delight and wonder. The chef walked me to the door, we were both grinning (mine had been there since the first course), he shook my hand and it was all I could do not to embrace him. I told him it was the best food I’d had in Tokyo, with a cheeky laugh he said, in Japan! And you know what? For the joy it gave me tonight, it was. ”

“ It’s superb! It serves course teppanyaki. I visited for celebrating special days. It is expensive meal but worth it! The cook and staff are very welcoming and friendly. Sometime showed me firework with grilled steak. From the starter to dessert, it’s kinda perfect. Definitely recommend! Even if you are full, don’t miss the dessert. ”

“ I came as a solo diner at 6pm without reservation, thankfully they have a place for me. I had set course C. Everything was great, I particularly enjoyed the abalone and steak. I was very full after the steak but I still polished off the fried rice and pancake dessert because they were too good. Staff and chef were friendly and welcoming. The chef even gave me a fire show when cooking steak ”
